Alright im going to save and ill be gettin my tires in October. Ill stick with 3.07s for now. Then upgrade later. Maybe a cheap complete jeep will pop up on CL with an auto and i can swap axles out.

The 8.25 is 3.55 stock.

if you have an automatic and its' not the tow package. some tow packages have the 3.73, and the manuals are 3.07. (mine is a 97 manual with the 8.25 and 3.07 gears).

I get crap mileage with mine. 250 or so miles and the tank is bone dry. Although thats all city miles. I can get about 290 or so on the highway.

3.07 with 31s, could be better but it will definitely do work. Even beach driving at Oregon Inlet is ok with them, the sand is super boggy down there and it pulls just fine
