2WD vs 4WD computer/fan

2WD vs 4WD computer/fan
I found a 1998 Cherokee Limited that is 2WD. I need the fan, which appears to be the same size as the one in my 1998 4WD Cherokee SE. Dude is junking the Jeep as it blew a rod out the side of the block.
Questions: Is the fan size supposed to be the same? I looked at a 1993 Cherokee fan a mechanic took out of his 4WD Jeep and it was approximately 2" larger in diameter.
Will the computer for a 2WD work in a 4WD?
It has an overhead console with speakers in mint condition I'm snagging as well. I'm hoping it will fit as it's a 4 door like mine.
Any advice or help is appreciated.
