I have a 96 and flooded my headlights, so I got some sealed ones. I went to put on today and realized the old ones have a turn signal or some other bulb in them. Ones I got were off a 96, was there different styles, should I just tuck that bulb back there and not worry about it? thanks

after looking around online, I'm guessing the ones that were on the Jeep when I got it are not the OEM style lights and that this extra bulb is just after market? thanks

sorry for the delay in response, here is a shot of them. they were like a euro clear. And the previous owner tapped into the turn signals and added the little bulb.

yeah, those are junk ebay after markets. The little bulb was typically used for "city lights", at least thats what they were called around here. A colored bulb that you turned on when your headlights were off to make the headlights glow a color. Not a stock option, just remove the bulb/tuck it away. Best option would be to find out where its wired in and remove it all together.

We have that type of headlights here in Sweden. Usually it comes with a H4 lightbulb and with a 60/55 watt bulb and by installing relays for direct power from battery they give realy good light-up in night time compared to original lights. And the small lightbulb is used for parking lights.
