2002 dying at stops

i have a 2002 straight 6 occaisionally dying at idle at stops signs does not throw a code seems more prevalent during high heat days around 100

Any electrical issues? Lights dim? Flicker? Maybe check all your grounds?

Another option is whats the shape of your exhaust? Any leaks could cause weird issues like that.

A marginal battery can create "stalling symptoms" at idle.

Have your battery LOAD TESTED. It is the only accurate way of determining its condition.
