Ive heard that '00 and '01's from the factory came with atf-4. So i would pull the cooler line from the radiator and flush it that way, just to be sure you got all the old stuff out. At least that's what i did. And yea atf-4 is synthetic but so is EVERYTHING on the shelf. They don't make real dex-3 any more. So ive heard...
