Default 2001 XJ passenger side door lock stuck.

I have a 2001 XJ and the passenger lock won't lock at all since it's stuck in the unlock position. The lever by the handle says it's locked and I cannot move it to the unlock position no matter how much force I use, and I'm not trying to break it so I stopped trying. Also the lock switch doesn't work on either side but I hear a click noise coming from the passenger side. What's likely to cause both of these issues?

Fixed the power lock issue. Had to solder the passenger side door module. Still having the issue with the lock indicator being stuck. Looks like the rod isn't the right length but I'm not totally sure. I'll attach a picture showing where it's stuck.

With the door panel off, try to lock/unlock it by hand, via the rod. If it doesnt do anything, the latch is gummed up.
