I bought some door pins for the drivers side door because it has started to sag. When I attempted to install them I couldnt figure out how to get the pins out. It almost looks as if they are pressed in or something. Any help on getting them out would be much appreciated.

 

i used a long punch with a bfh and still could not get them to budge

 

As I understand the top and bottom of the pins are peened over.

If your gonna do this, you could make your doors removable by getting a less permanent pin. just thought id suggest it in case you feel like you might want to take them off now and then a little easier.

 

yeah, i've seen that mod and will probably eventually do it but for now this is my DD/family vehicle

 

then your going the smart route, good choice.
