2001 Has fuel..wont start

How do I check spark with the annoying coil pack setup? My truck has been running fine and just keeps cranking this morning fuel pump primes the rail I can hear it and got an eyeful of fuel from the shrader valve on the rail. I have to be a at work In 2 hours need to figure this out.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter

Chances are pretty good you don't have spark, and the crank sensor is the most likely cause.

What's so annoying about the coil pack it's one hell of and ignition system well one part of a very good system.

Nothing. Just harder than pulling out a spark plug with a distributor based system and checking spark. Anyways, already fixed it. Was the crank sensor and was easy.
