I have a 2001. Previous owner had put some random ford injectors in there that looked like they had been extracted with a flathead screwdriver, causing one to leak and give me rough starts. I bought these on ebay, from this seller:

And they've been great. There are lots of options on ebay if you search something like "2001 cherokee xj injectors", so you might look around for a better price. Lots of folks are happy with junkyard parts from dodge neons and a few other models if you're looking for cheaper.
As far as performance, most people seem to think there's a difference between 4 and 1 hole injectors (the link above is for 4-hole injectors), but I doubt there's a noticeable difference between any of the 4 hole injectors that are compatible and work like they're meant to.
These came with o-rings. Hope that helps.

If pulling injectors from the yard, have them cleaned and tested. If possible, replace the filters in each of them. New o-rings are a must.
The 4 hole injectors spray a finer mist than the singles. Better atomization of the fuel. The singles are more like a fine stream.

Like you i didn't have time to research all the 1 to 4 hole injector details.
Found this place that specializes in Jeep injector 1 to 4 hole conversions. I let them do all the work as far as the specs needed for the engine and year of my Jeep.
So i ordered a set of 4-holes from precisionautoinjectors for my xj.
They're used and pressure tested and if i seem to remember correctly they were Ford Taurus injectors. Cheap too.
I gotta say, they made a huge difference off the line. With the old injectors, my Jeep would bog off the line given full throttle. With the 4-holers; no bog, no torque delay off the line. Instant push back against the seat.
Gas mileage? Not so much far as i can tell!
Of course it could of been that my original injectors were just tired from 280,000 miles. lol
