I have a 2001 with electric windows, locks, etc. The harness broke and was repaired by the previous owner however they missed a couple of wires or the splices are failing. Are there any suppliers for these harnesses other than the dealer? Any ideas on how much one of these harnesses will run?

I finally found a parts dept open today and got a qoute of about $100 after taxes for a complete left front door wiring harness for my jeep, this will fix the stereo wiring that is currently two wires taped together running under the door panel and visable to everyone and may fix my window lock button problem that has the temporary splice fix on it.

For anyone interested the part number is 56007579AC and there is a picture of it on this site (I hope there isn't a problem linking to content from other sites)

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been searching everywhere for this information. One question. It appears this is the harness that runs under the door in the "rocker panels" inside the jeep under the plastic moldings. Is this the wiring that actually goes into the door through the rubber grommets?

 

To me, it appears that Item #2 is the desired wiring harness for the driver's front door (and part number depending on your options).

PN 56007579AC, as mentioned above, appears to be around the "B pillar" area.

 

I know this is old but in the event it helps somebody else...

The correct part number is 56009821AE...AND you can't find one new anywhere
