Hey guys. I'm new here. My XJ was stolen and recovered after two weeks (today). When I picked it up, I discovered the door lock cyl was destroyed. Inside the Ignition lock cyl was destroyed and the housing for the ignition lock cyl was busted up.

Has this happened to anyone???

I'd like to fix it myself and not buy a new steering column assembly. Is there a wat to just get the ignition lock housing? Is there a work around (ie. push button ignition)?

Please Help!
