2000 Xj Fronts seats into '96

2000 Xj Fronts seats into '96
I don't know if this is in the right forum, and I did search through the first couple of pages but I'm a little short on time. I have a chance to get two perfect front seats for my '96 from a 2000. The time crunch is that I have to have them out by tomorrow am, because its a donor car for our auto extrication class.
So the question is, will the seats from a 2000 bolt into my 96? If they wont, am I able to take the seats off the mounts and put them on the mounts I currently have? These seats are seriously in awesome shape and the free price tag is hard to pass up. Thank you in advance for the help.
