Alright heres another cruise control thread. Yes ive searched a million times but I cant seem to pinpoint my problem.

I put cruise control into my XJ that didnt have it previously. I have installed the 99-01 cruise buttons, clockspring with cruise, brand new brake light switch, and a brand new cruise control servo with cable.

I cant get it to work and the cruise control light doesnt go on. Ive looked at all the vacuum lines and they seem fine as well as the ball in the bumper.

Anyone got any suggestions this is driving me crazy!!!!

It sounds like it is not communicating with the ECU. When you push the botton the cruise light should come on. Maybe you have the wrong switches? Wired up wrong?

Might need the PCM flashed at the dealer.

When I plugged mine all together and pushed the button, the cruise light on the dash came on. No reprogram from any dealer. Just saying no light no communication.

Yea Ive read a million threads were people just plugged in the components and didnt need a flash. Its just really bizarre!

Are there any fuses that im missing or anything else? I read the manual and didnt see any associated fuses or relays
