When I did head swap on my old 98 I un hooked the hose goin to the driver side of the block and shove the water hose in it and let run anywhich way it wanted two. Which I live in the country and didn't care if antifreeze got on the ground. It was duilted enough not to hurt the dogs and it was in dirt.

it might be on the under side, or like some other models you have to remove the front grille to find it and then its one the passenger side. I'll say this first, its illegal in most municipalities to dump things like old rad fluid down into the sewers. Soooooo, on that note, be careful, don't get caught.

In my replacement radiator, it was through the passenger headlight bezel, on the bottom, dunno about the stock one. I do know that it was a ***** and got lucky because i had the bumper and other crap off to paint.

That is why I am glad to live in the sticks where nobody cares. We burn our old oil that is how we get rid of old stumps.

hmm, that sounds healthy.

some people care. just because youre in the country doesn't mean you dont have to worry about it.

for example, since you probably have a well, your oil and antifreeze are now potentially leeched into your water supply.

i'd say buy the kiddie pool, or i think they sell a kit that allows you to splice the hoses and drain all of the coolant out through a T junction. might just be easier to get the pool or get a buddy to help you by holding a bucket right under it when you take the hose off.

I'm not dumb enough to do it around the well learned not to do things around the well when I was cleaning out the wood stove and dumped a bucket of ashe beside it and got my *** beat when I was young real young. O and I'm not saying to just go dump your antifreeze everywhere just clear that up with everyone.

I'm saying underground aquifers are a lot bigger than you think they might be. Wells are not made of water from a small area right by where the visible above ground structure is.

Chemicals from your car should be disposed of properly and not carelessly let spill onto the ground either. Especially if you plan to grow anything, or for that matter naturally let anything grow.

Yea, there was no way i was just going to unhook the hose and let it drain, that's just asking for trouble especially in the suburbs with everybodys pets. I'm gonna see if i can find a plastic pool, but i doubt that's gonna happen.
