Hi everyone,

I have a stock 2000 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) 2WD.

I am pretty much at a wits end as this noise that comes from the dash.

It makes the noise like someone is blowing a top of a bottle when driving around 40 to 60mph. I only hear that when I am driving the XJ (not during idle)

It is rather annoying especially when driving on a highway with those noise coming from the top of the dash.

I tried tightening the Heater/AC studs from the front, as well as removing vent to isolate the noise but to no avail.

I was wondering if any of you Jeepers had similar issue. I searched several times but there's no identical issues that I can find on the forum.

Any help or guidance on where I should look for from the fellow Jeepers would be appreciate it.

Check your window and door seals. I had a weird humming I ended up tracking down to the door seal not fully sealing in one spot
