Jesus this thread went off track real quick.

I've said my peace, made my point. I'm done.

I'm gonna go look at snow tires now.

You rotate your tires every 3k, or should, whats so hard about looking for a second or two after they're off lol

Wheel spacers are safe if you do it right, its the same with everything.

Offsets or Spacers, two options to not rub the frame......I mean lower control arms.....

Edit-Youve said your piece, not peace. To say ones piece is to be heard, to speak ones piece. Same connotation.

Oh snap, another thread on this forum suggesting not to use wheel spacers!
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/de...ont-mix-58590/

Sorry, I'm not an engrish major, peace/piece. Don't care about that, either.

And splitting hairs on my mistake calling a chunk of metal frame? My bad. Was I wrong? Yeah, called a part a wrong name. Oops. I was still right, it rubbed.

Im just messing around with you, no need to get defensive.

And I know it rubbed, just not the frame, thats what i questioned, not the LCAs.

Bet ya those spacers were cast or plugged.

Re-read the post. He talks about aluminum shaving everywhere.

Guy wasn't paying attention to his ride and neglected it like 90% of ppl do. Sheared off a couple bolts.

Ya think? Any sort of neglect = problems. Glad that guy is alright.

This is why I won't run them. Just adds more crap to worry about. More crap to go wrong. I've got enough headaches in life, I've learned to stay away from things that add complication.

So it will rub or no? What kid of stuff do i need to do to keep it from rubbing? I'm not planning on mudding alot. More like a everyday driver. Stock rims with 31s or maybe 32s. 3 inch lift.

I'd like to stick with stock rims because wouldn't i be able to step up one higher size tire? This is more like a budget build. I want a bad looking jeep but also don't want it rubbing it's butt off on everything. I've got some spare 2 inch blocks that my father got for his 4.5 inch lift. Really don't want to buy all this stuff and lend up having to cut and break things just so it won't scrub.

Stock rims are 15", you can get 15" offsets.

Id stick to 3", anymore is gonna cause drive/brake/track bar problems

Than grab some 16x8.5 offsets

They arent that expensivve at all, and its alot better than rubbing on anything if you are worried.
