2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ Postal Jeep RHD
Anyone out there know where I can get a heater core, Mopar Part number 4874046. It's for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Postal Jeep RHD. Or does anyone make a replacement fitment?

Are you sure that's the right part number. It appears to be for a TJ 2002+ RHD.

I would call a local radiator place to ask whether they will swap the brass pipes on a left hand drive unit so that it will fit a right hand drive vehicle.

I used the Part Number Search for 4874046. No Parts found. They only sell part # 4874045. My 97-98 parts catalog (i dont have one for 99-01) lists part # 4874045 for LHD, and part # 4874046 for RHD.

where did you find a used one? My RHD jeep takes the same part number and I cannot find one anywhere! My former mechanic tried to locate one and ended up trying to make one fit but it doesn't work good at all! So I don't have the original heter core!

They are available new in Australia...doesnt say whether that one is a pre or post update...but for FYI
...and yes, they are expensive...and that is before shipping
alternatively, make contact with a specialist dismantler over here by phone or email, and do the deal, a private seller could also probably be found via the Oz forum
