2000 cherokee sport 6C 4.0L

hey all new to the site, had a question about My exhaust.

I'm looking to buy a Gibson SS cat-back kit for my cherokee and get rid of the stock exhaust.

Question i had was the site i am buying it from is asking me in the "SUB-MODEL" if i have a slip-fitted catalytic converter or a Flanged catalytic converter connection. ????

how do i know which one my stock xj has now???? any help??

My guess is slip, but just look underneath your rig and take a look to confirm.

Crawl under the vehicle and look. You should have a bolted flange connection between the CAT and the muffler. Look and see.

I have a 2000 and I ha flange. It's simple. Just look under, if there's a flange in between the pipe, it flange style!
