OK. I'm at the end of my rope. Need some suggestions. I went to go to work one morning and my Cherokee wouldn't start. It just sat there and cranked. The Engine light comes on and the digital odometer reads "No Bus". Guages don't work, Fuel pump don't work, Nothing works. After several mechs and diagnostic scans, the conclusion was that the ECM was bad. I replaced it. Guess what??? No change. It still just cranks and the odometer still reads "No Bus". Any help would be appreciated.... Gotta have the Jeep.........

 

sounds like a crank posistioning sensor.. test it by unplugging it, and turning the ignition key to on. If the voltage gauge and/or the fuel gauge now displays correctly, replace the CPS.
