Question 2000 Cherokee fender flares

Hello all, My right passenger rear fender flare came unhooked from the retainers. Read through the forums and found that there was 4 or 5 bolts with 10mm nuts to get the retainers off. When i began to look and feel the studs they were mostly bent. I began to take them off and after i pb blasted them they pretty much all broke off. Now im stuck with a fender flare and the retainers with the studs still stuck in them. The studs are pressed and will most likely have to be grinded down and drilled out. Has anyone had this happen to them? And is there any other way that you could do this without hurting/damaging the retainers along with snapping the flare back on to a clean and mostly flush fender. I'm sure you'll have to get new bolts and nuts when all is completed. I would appreciate any opinions and advice. Thank you so much!
