2000 cherokee chip key
I just finished rebuilding a 2000 Cherokee's engine and cannot start it because I don't have the chipped transponder key. I only have a key that can unlock the doors. Is there any way to bypass the system to get it to start without the transponder key? At least until I can get it to the dealer who will charge me a arm and a leg to get new transponder keys.

You need to unplug the SKIM MODULE inside of the steering column then find a non skim PCM of the same year and drivetrain setup and swap that one for your current one
