i have a blown motor in my 2000 cherokee and all i can find around here is the older distributor style 4.0 motors can i use one of these motors if i swap my head and intake out im new to all this jeep stuff and can use all the helpful advice thanks

Like you said just use all of the external parts and sensors from your 00 engine.

I been told that everything from the motor mounts were in different spots to the heads not fitting

 

It depends on what type of jeep you get the engine out of. Also if you get one that is a lot, Such as a renix. It can be done but with a lot more work. If you do a search on here there is a couple of post that will tell you what years and model that are compatible.
