Can I put an earlier (up to 98) cam in a 2000 4.0 xj. I know the timing set is different but what else has to be done? The 2000 has a retainer for the cam but it won't work with the earlier cam. Also the front cam bearing surface on the cam is wider. What do I do about that? Thanks.
