2000 & 2001 Rear Window Regulators. woos

I had to splice into the provided harness but there seems to be a problem with the motor. The gear drive in this unit grinds / strips under a load. Is there a another motor that is known and verified to work for these years of the Cherokee?

I did some research after the fact on a window motor from Dorman 742-353 and that's an issue with this motor.

Any feedback would be much appreciated .

Dorman's quality is hit or miss.

If that gear is slipping, it's time to replace the whole unit.

Besides Dorman, anyone else carry these unit as a whole?

These are the only rear window motor and regulator assembly I could find.
