Going to be replacing my front passanger side drive shaft U joint this weekend, do I need any specials tools to pull everything apart? I have a pretty well stocked shop to work in. Figured an airhammer of course, but I am looking at if anything special is needed to pull the hub out.

Also going to be replacing the diff seals why I have it on the rack and changing the diff fluid and T-Case fluid. Couldn't remember how to tell which rear diff I have, and what fluid do you guys suggest running? Didn't the dana 44 rear diff have a bibber bulge or something?

Thanks peeps!

If you have a 98 like in your sig you don't have a rear 44 unless someone swapped in one. You have the larger u-joints in the front axle shafts and you don't need an air hammer. Once the shaft is out pull the c-clips that hold the caps on on the inside of the axle ears and then press them out. They go back in the same way. May need to use a hammer to break them loose. If you plan to change the front seals you have to pull the carrier so make sure you really need to swap them out. Like stated above you need a 13mm 12 point socket to remove the hub but your breaks should use a 12mm and the big nut on the end of the axle that holds the hub together and keeps the axle in is 23mm (if memory serves me but I am old).
