2 nch Lift
I was checking out my broken heat shield on my 1999 XJ and I happened to look at my leafs. I wasn't to surprised that they were flat after 133K miles. I have decided that instead of getting new stock leafs that I would get a little lift. I know it would be cheaper to just get a 3' lift but my mom won't let me. I am looking at this lift http://www.quadratec.com/products/76090_80X_PG.htm. I have heard only good thing of OME. However I was wandering if there are any that are better or what I will need other that u-bolts to make this lift work. I want too order from Quadratec because it is only about five minutes from my house. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

WOW!!! 750 bucks for 1.5"??????? thats rediculous, you could get a 4.5" lift from rough country for less than that shipped.... if you want 2" get some grand cherokee v8 coilsprings for the front and some ford f150 lowering shackles or make a bastard pack out of some dakota or s10 leafsprings for the back. here check this out http://www.rocklizardfabrications.co...dget_boost.htm hes even got part numbers for the shocks you will need. im not trying to knock the idea or anything but that is crazy money for a little lift. i know your mom wont let you go too high but theres much more inexpensive ways of obtaining a couple inches..

Thats the lift I have and I love it. It is pricey. But I think worth it.You will need u-bolts and bushings for the leaf springs.i would also recomend getting the steering stabalizer also.I went way overboard and did lcas, track bar, disco's,brake lines and anything else I thought was needing replaceing.
