You were right on with BOTH posts Silver60th, I thought they were both good advice, A 2'' bb is a 2'' bb the thing that will most likely affect ride is the shocks like you said

i would still get a good quality BB, you can always reuse the shackles and such so you might as well get a good quality product. I've seen some other lift shackles and they dont even compare to my rocky road shackles....these things will NEVER break or bend

Just a heads up to the OP, these are pretty much the strongest, beefiest shackles I have ever run across.

its not there products they have problems with, its the customer service. I personally had no trouble at all with them and would buy from them again in a heartbeat.

you dont need new shocks unless you plan on going and flexing out your jeep, and even then it wont affect your flex that much to keep the stockers. Personally i wouldnt buy new ones until you need them ie, one goes out or something. In my opinion most all shocks ride about the same, the only really noticeable difference i've seen were in the real expensive brands like bilstein or OME. But it's your call man.

EDIT: oh yeah, and the only other thing is i would make sure i got greaseable shackles, dont know if those are or not, i would call quadratec or skyjacker up and ask

Go with OME or BDS lift kits you can get full springs with them ,and not have a BANDAID lift in which you will end up replacing springs and what not within a year.

Default Shock bolts rounded

As I said earlier, i purchased a Zone 2" lift with new shocks, AAL, and front spacers. Well I started yesterday at 4pm and 6hours later have the two rear shocks removed!! The first one came out easy, the second ones bolts were rounded and had to cut the shock out to have easy access to get them out, only to snap them off. Now I am heading out to drill and tap. Keep you posted!

If you got an air chisel or even a hand chisel drive the broken bolt an nut that the shocks were held on by out and just drop bolts done the holes. The upper nuts are only tack welded on.
