~2 inch lift?
I guess I should be more specific. Its a beach rig/daily driver. Blocks in back and spacers in front look like an inexpensive way to get a little more clearance. If blocks are considerably more unsafe than shackles then ill just go with shackles or AAL. I am not very mechanically inclined (yet) and I don't want to get myself into something that I can't do in a day as I need this vehicle to get back and forth to work lol.
yeah dont worry you will be fine with just spacers and blocks i am doing a 2 inch on a cherokee with 6.5 to get up to 8 inchs and i am going to be wheeling it hard you wont have a problem. Its a really popular way to lift trucks too they put on like 5 inch blocks and than drop the t case than use it as a dd, work truck and tow rig you can get away with blocks
no problem and oh yeah everyone and their daughter has a truck down here in arizona and they just block them up most dont want to spend the money on the real lifts so they just block them up.
I'm sure one day the lift bug will bite harder and ill end up spending the money on a different lift. I have to take my mods/repairs very slowly though lol money is always an issue.
Just curious. If I get the 2 inch front spacers and 2 inch rear blocks. About how much lift will I actually get, will it really be 2 inches, Im guessing things will settle and adjust making it less than 2. Doesnt really matter, just curious

What does everyone think about these for the rear lift? Looking for a good balance between quality/durability and ease of instillation. I am still learning the ins and outs of all this. haha.

I would recomend rough country for you since you're just looking for more clearance. They have a 1.5" lift for $250 and a 3" lift for $256. Here's the link

Yeah I have been eyeballing that setup as well. I keep coming back and looking at it. It seems like a great deal, shocks included. But it's just outside my price range right now. Im looking for cheep n easy.
If I went with the aal's could I just add the above mentioned kit to it at a later time?
Guess I could just save up. Im torn lol.

problem is no matter what you do you're gonna need shocks so keep that in mind. the kit is probably the cheapest and easiest way to go whne you consider different parts and shipping
