Default 2 exhaust manifolds help

I have one that has 2 slinky looking things on it and one without just tube which is better and why

I forget the joke. What do a slinky and a congressman have in common? They both make you smile when you push them down the stairs!

It's safe to assume you have a Jeep, likely even a Cherokee. My 90 is all solid stuff, no idea what you have though.......Maybe a 4.0, CA 2001?

Those are designed to allow for expansion and contraction to prevent the manifold from cracking, but I just replaced mine that had the flanges on it because it cracked anyway. It likely won't make a difference for you.
