Looking for a LH window regulator for a 99' 2 door XJ. I found a place in AZ that will repair/rebuild the old one that is trashed but a small fortune to do so.

 

From what I have seen that rebuild service or finding a used one somewhere are your only options.
And finding used ones can be challenging from what I have seen too so.......

 

The passenger side regulator from a 2 door chevy cobalt will work. That's what I did for mine. I made a write up and tried submitting it for a sticky, but no dice. This is the write up I made. It only took a few hours to do and I'm going on about a year with the replacement with no issues. I can't say for sure if the driver side will work for driver side, so just be aware that I used the passenger side to replace my driverside regulator.
