1999 XJ Question- Noise When Braking

My dad's 99 XJ makes a clicking noise when braking on off-ramps ,etc. NO ABS, regular power brakes, and the brakes are preforming properly. It sounds as if its coming from the drive train not the brakes, and is more pronounced when the car is heavily loaded. Anyone else ever experience this???

I would start checking everything out. I have that problem well kinda in my girlfriends car. I wanna say her cv saft is clicking. IM not 100% on it yet but its coming from around there. O and its frontwheel drive.
