Hey Folks, I recently got my 1999 XJ limited painted (was in bad shape), and will be picking it up tomorrow. I stopped by the shop today, and saw it almost complete. they removed all of the emblems, and told me I was going to have to order new ones (thought it was strange that they didn't let me know in advance...but anyways). Does anyone know where I can order a full set of OEM Jeep emblems (Jeep for front and back, Limited for the sides).

Any help/links would be greatly appreciated

You can check eBay, as from time to time, NOS and even brand new MOPAR emblems are listed. You'll also need a '4.0L High Output' badge for the rear tailgate if you want the complete package, as well as '4x4' emblems for the rear quarter panels and rear tailgate. Oh, and let's not forget the 'CHEROKEE' emblems for both front doors, which are mounted right behind the 'Limited' badges.

I would tell the shop that they have to pay for the emblems, as they were on there when you brought it in, and they should be responsible to return your XJ to you in the same condition that it was in when you received it, other than the new paint.

To do a proper paint job they had remove them all.
They should have told you but it is kind of a given IMO.
Problem is they are not going to be cheap.
Off the top of my head you are probably looking at $300.
There is no full set that I am aware of.
The 4.0 on the hatch of a '99 is a decal. So that won't be as bad as the rest.
I think the 4X4 badge on a '99 might be a decal as opposed to a dimensional badge too.
So that might not be too out there. But I am not sure.
On my '00 they are dimensional.
The Limited badge while not cheap is one piece so if yours are in decent shape you could reuse them.

All the other emblems while they come in a strip and get put on in one piece are actually single characters.
Getting them all in proper position individually I don't see happening.

Download the parts catalog for your '99, would be the '97 to '99 one, and go to the Exterior Ornamentation section.
Find all the appropriate part numbers and Google them.

4.0 Hatch 5FJ64CA1 Check the RockAuto site for this first.
4X4 5FJ61CA1AB On the rear quarters
Limited 5EM91SA1 Doors. Again thinking you don't really need these.
Jeep 5EM87SA1 Hatch and header.
Cherokee 5GC82CA1AA Doors

I am thinking about either bedlining my Jeep or getting a higher quality paint job.
So I have been poking around for the badging for mine.

Which brings me to my question.
Curious as to what the paint job cost you?
