Default 1999 XJ

I'm new to the forum but have been a lurker for a while. Bought my first Cherokee yeaterday. It has 190,000 miles but has had both the transmission and engine replaced in the past 60k.

My only concern is when I put it in drive it lurches a bit. The transmission shifts flawlessly but just that initial Park to Drive is worry some.

Is there something I can do to address it?

That transmission problem will cost you a fortune! Sign over the title to me and drop it in the mail. I'll be there to pick it up shortly.

I'll have to check the idle.

This is all you have to do.......hopefully.

This simple, free, 10 second (LITERALLY) fix made my tranny shift like new again.

Oh it shifts fine. It's the park to drive that makes the lurch.
