I hate those stupid connectors, had one of those hoses begin to leak where the metal tubing goes into the crimped connector to the hose, and the new hose assembly was smaller than the old one so it wouldn't fit to the old connector. Of course when I called back to check with the dealership (it was the trans cooler to radiator hose, OEM only) they didn't have any record of the part specifications being changed. So I did what madfire does and went and got 4 feet of hose and hose clamps from the local Kragen, and I haven't had a problem since. A lot cheaper than the factory hose, and a lot less hassle.

I finally finished today... I had two bad radiators sent to me with shipping damage, but the third one was a charm....

This last radiator went in very well, the pipe on the radiator was smaller than the last radiator.. So this fitting slept onto the line a lot easier, not fun but at least I did not have to cut off and splice the trans line....

Thanks everyone for all the pointers!!!

i'll second that! very helpfull to see

when i got my new radiator ( from "radiator farm") i was pissed to see shipping damage to the radiator cap flange (bent against the spout), but seeing that others have had that issue makes it less aggrivating. its apparently just apart of the game...
wanted to see something about the connectors, as the leak the ol girl has is in a line that was connected with hose clamps. guess that extra hose and clamps are in order.
again i say apparently just part of the game.

if you search for "quick disconnect tool set" at a parts store site you'll get some set. usually like 6 or more different sizes in a set.
at autozone p/n 25182

I have the quick connect trans line at the bottom, cannot seem to fit the hose flare onto this radiator pipe? Does anybody have any tricks? It almost seems like the braided pipe is to small for the radiator tube? This is not my picture, I borrowed it from baja820 issue....

Where did you get that L shaped connector for the bottom ATF? I replaced my radiator and also found that piece has a gash in it and I cannot find the right part for the life of me.
