1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Poping Sound
Just picked up a 1999 Grand Cherokee although it has a problem and haven't got time to dig into it but figured it couldn't be too bad, it runs great but when slowing down, turning it makes "POP POP POP" sound, when I hit the gas hard around a turn it pops faster "POP POP POP POP POP!!!!!"
From experience with other vehicles I'm thinking Rear or Front Differential but really wish it's simplier then that but what could it be? U-Joints? C-V-Joints? Wheel Bearing wouldn't only do it when slowing down I don't think...
Anyway when I get off work and get the title done I'm going to take it to the house and jack it up and try and get it running smooth.

First thing I'd check is that the lug nuts are tight. Seems a simple thing but you'd be surprised. My second guess would be a joint somewhere (like a U-Joint or CV-Joint). I've seen Grands with both so I'm not sure what you have. Just grab a hold of things and feel for looseness or play.
