1998 xj headliner in a 1990
Hey everyone,
I recently aqquired a donor 1998 xj for parts on my 1990 model....My current headliner in the 1990 model is completely gone and i'm tired of watching the insulation material flop in the wind....lol......So, I measured the one in the 1998 model and it appears to be the same size and is near perfect...its even the same color...I plan to use the new visors as well since these have mirrors and lights in them....I could be missing something so I wanted to ask some of you experts if this is a direct bolt in with few modifications?
I realize of course, the new headliner has a sound bar, map lights etc..that i will need to rewire but I want to be sure before I tear both of them out that this will work....any thoughts (pro's or cons) or if someone has done this before would be great....Thanks all
