1998 Grand Cherokee 5.2 idle problems
Hoping I am putting this ? in the right place....I have had problems with my rpms surging and falling while going 55-65 mph and yesterday it cranked and then the engine light came on and it cut off but would crank right back up only to do the same thing...replaced the idle sensor , throttle sensor , and map sensor and the light went off....drove it about 20 miles and it acted like it wanted to cut off going about 45 mph....have a new oxygen sensor to have put in today just thought maybe someone else has had this same issue and could giove me some advice....this jeep has been taken excellant care of....

we had this same issue with a 1995 grand cherokee 5.2, and it turned out to be the crank position sensor. but we sold it 2 days ago, cause my wife needed a new car before i leave for a year.
