I woke up this morning to start my car and when i turned the key it would start up but there was a loud screeching noise. When i went to see where it was coming from i noticed the alternator was seized up and determined that was the problem. I ran to the local auto parts store and picked up a new alternator. I put it on and now the car won't even crank. I checked the battery to see if that was the problem but it was reading around 12.6-13 volts i checked the fuses and relays to see if any had blow out and they were all ok too. Anyone know what is wrong and if so, a solution? Thank you.

 

Check all the connections on your positive battery cable. May have left something off.
