1997 Cherokee Remote Keyless Entry
Purchased a 1997 Cherokee Sport recently for our 2 teenage drivers as a first car. It came with 1 keyless entry remote (FCC ID: GQ43VT10T) but would like remotes for both kids. Trying to find additional remotes online. Can anyone tell me if the 3 button remote with panic button (GC43VT7T) would be compatible for my vehicle? I am finding more of this type and for much cheaper. Also, does anyone have any info on how to program these once I have additional? Thanks!

Just got my 96 XJ Country with electric windows and locks but no remote. Dealer checked VIN and said it had a remote when new, 56009031 was the part number he gave me and I believe is the only one that works. E-bay has them.
