1997 jeep cherokee xj 4.0 straight 6 80,000 miles manual

I found an auto 1997 jeep cherokee xj 4.0 auto

I wanted to know if anyone has experience or know what I'll have to swap over from the donor. My manual trans took a **** and wont budge. Instead I rather rebuild the auto and put in my jeep with 80k miles.

 

You'll have to transplant the wiring and trans computer, plus all the other misc trim pieces, driveshafts, etc.

 

the driveshaft is different? The 2nd gen I thought had the same drive shafts.

 

Both driveshafts are different from auto to manual, length wise.

 

AW4 is about an inch longer than the AX15.
