Ive got a 96 Cherokee v6 4.0, it has a drip about every 8 seconds coming from somwhere underneath the power steering pump. It does not appear to be any hoses. It wasnt leaking until the weather starting getting cool down here in charleton, sc. I brought it a few months ago, and having a service record showing that the power steering pump & resivour were replaced only 12 months ago. Is there some kind of seal problem with these things or what? No warranty from who ever put the last one in.

 

you might want to check the steering gear box for a leak, I had to replace mine yesterday. Thought it was a hose too, but it was the seal where the pitman arm attaches to steering linkage.

It is where the hoses go from the reservoir if it is leaking, you will see from underneath...
