1996 Jeep XJ Country SOS
Two things.
1. I’m having issues with crank no start. Pretty sure it’s a wiring issue as it first happened after plugging in my scanner and then I played around with the wires under the steering column and it started and ran ROUGH. Can anyone identify any wires that aren’t supposed to be there? It’s a cluster ...
2. How do you get this steering wheel off? The top nuts seem to have plastic over them and I can’t get my socket to the nut.
thanks!

Maybe you should invest (and not so much) into a manual that has all the wiring diagrams and detailed explanations oh how to diagnose, remover, replace and repair items on the Jeep. Soon or later your going to have to learn everything about these Jeeps to enjoy them. Even the dealerships don't have trained mechanics on 20+ year old XJ's
and btw, I couldn't answer your questions as I haven't had to deal with what you are dealing with....sorry.
