I have a 1996 jeep Cherokee xj and I pulled the codes tonight and had 11 codes. I bought new injectors and spark plugs. K suspension injectors since I was having trouble with the stock ones getting stuck open. Installed them and now have 3 injector pulse codes. 2 random misfire codes and other codes. Just started getting them after 3 months of installing injectors. So don't believe it's the injectors. Anyone know where to began have a new distributor coming and going to do all the plugs and wires tomorrow.

 

All this after injectors swapped? Change or test those puppies

 

Check the play on the distributor shaft also. Those bearings could be worn out and you might be getting all kinds of arcing under that cap.
