1996 Grand Cherokee runs good when it starts
Hey All,
I've been working on the issues with my Grand Cherokee for sometime and all the help provided so far has been great and useful.
However, I now have a new problem when I disconnect the battery for an extended period of time the Jeep starts and runs great (I guess I really did need most of those sensors replaced) however, the next day it will not start at all. I know that bydisconnecting the battery I'm reseting the computer but what could be corrupting it while it sits over night?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
Doc

Do you get a check engine light at all?
Is it a crank no start?
Is it a NO crank no start?
Have you checked for fuel and or spark?
These answers will really help us narrow it down.

Sorry for the lack of information, I've been working on this so long that I forget that everyone doesn't know what I've done. It cranks but won't start.
Just about everything has been replaced in the engine compartment:
ECM (twice by the dealer)
CPS
MAS
IAC
Camshaft sensor
Temp Sensor
Plugs, cap, rotor, wires and coil
battery and altenator
Grounds have been checked
Here is what happens when the vehicle has the power removed from it for say 24 hours it will then start up just fine however, the next day after sitting for around 12 hours it will not start. When its been with out power all systems are go but when it has sat over night it will not have spark.
Basically once I "reboot" the computer it will run great (and restart) until it sets overnight. It's like something is corrupting the computer.
Thanks again,
Doc
