I have a '96 with the in tank fuel regulator. yeah the one where nobody makes the part anymore.... I'm aware of the differences and the potential fuel sending sensor challenge. Has anyone successfully converted their tank to a 97-up unit?

Back in October or so there was a guy trying to adapt a '97 set up (tank and all) to his '96 after he couldn't locate a replacement for his except at the jy. Seems he had it figured down to just a few wiring connections to make it work. I had it in my favorites but our computer crashed and it's lost for now. I did search for a bit but couldn't find it.

FYI, I have a 96 w/ fuel sender issues. None available anywhere. A royal pain in the butt to say the least. I just found this link for those that need 96 pump assy. Price is high but it is the only one I've found anywhere. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk...hfupu5003869AA
