1996 Cherokee Jeep 4 Litre - Please can you help
thanks for your help guys. I took the engine ECU out and took it apart and I found one of the compoments was stuck down with glue. I bought this jeep from a car dealer, it just goes to show these people are up to all tricks, I know that they cannot do anythink because I bought this jeep 3 years ago, I have one more question for you all, I think i have found a replacement ECU, the question I ask does it need to be coded for my Jeep. It hasn't got a emboliser through the key fob, it just has a seperate alarm.

Sorry, man. I couldn't resist
Testing your Camshaft Position Sensor: with the ignition in the on position and the engine turned off, connect the test leads of your multi-meter to the outside two wires on your sensor connecting harness (you most likely have a 3 wire sensor), leaving the middle wire alone. If you get a reading greater than 10.5 volts, your sensor is ok.
