Ok so we are getting new cable materials to replace the old one but in the mean time I got to thinking.

Clearly the current cable is pinched under the engine mount and I'd like to pull it out. Will this work ...........

Put a transmission or motorcycle jack under the motor and light jack it up to move the motor up in the mount.

I guess there would be enough movement in the mount that this might work.

Is that a good guess?

 

Have ya climbed under and looked yet might just be stuck from shorting out good yank might be alls need . Passenger sides easy to see .
