1995 XJ ac/heat/defrost problems
In my 95 XJ the blower for the ac/heater/defrost rarely blows. very very few times will it cut on for like 5-10 minutes just to cut off again in no specific pattern. Its just any random movement of the jeep will cause it to cut off, sometimes to turn right back on, other times to not work for weeks..
Any suggestions where to look?

Just a follow up on what the problem was. I hope this helps others.
The problem was the control on the dash. Once removed, there were several connections burned up. The power terminal being one of them. Went to the local junk yard. Picked up one for $50. The problem was finding a good harness with a good terminal for heat control switch. Looked at six jeeps, five of which had the same burned up terminals. Took the good one an spliced it into my jeep. The blower works good now.

My 94 Cherokee's AC/heat/defrost doesn't come on but if I turn it to AC and high when driving down the road it will blow out a little very cold air. But when I stop, so does the cold air. Now, the air has went from cold to just air, and not very much of that anymore. Someone told me to check the oriffice tube because it sounds like it is clogged. If anyone has any experience with this sorta thing I'd appreciate any help. Thanx.

DeBo, again on the start a new thread thing.
If you have the same R134a system that my 95 has then you do not have an orifice tube, you have an expansion valve (a little silver box right at the firewall with what looks like a dial on one side. You can replace that part for like $10 but you have to evac the system and refill which requires expensive equipment.
