I bought this jeep about 2 months ago and have put alot of money into it and have no more money to put in it , it needs bottom end bearings($ 150.00) , it runs and drives well except for the rattle when it gets warm, it has a brand new head gasket, intake gasket,valve cover gasket, cam,lifters, oil pump,plugs, and wires, and new brakes. it is 4wd and it does work , it is lifted 4" inches and has 31" toyo all terain tires. i am looking to get about $1500.00 obo or trade ( paid 3500.00 2 months ago) and have 700 in it with no more ablr to pu in it and thats why i forced to sell. Posted in the wrong spot. Are you sure it isnt the flex plate bolts that are loose? Ive been told it makes a simular sound.

 

well i am not a 100% but from what the local jeep dealer told me was that since i have already replaced the cam and lifters that left the oil pump and the crank bearings.... and i just replaced the oil pump so....

noise has been verified coming from the bottom water pums will make a similar noise also

 

it has oil pressure when i start it up untill it gets warm , and then only when i have my foot on the gas , when i brake the oil pressure drops to 0. and there is a constant tick, or rattle .......
