motor swap now sputters and dies
i have a 2000 cherokee inline 6 and i just had to replace the motor so i got everything situated and started it up ran perfect! so i jumped in it to go break it in and it drove fine did a couple slow accelerations and then noticed the check engine light on then it sputtered all power was lost and then died. pulled over restarted it drove maybe 40 feet it sputtered did the same thing. so i disconnected ecm waitied a little while and then reconnected took off again till check engine light came back on and sputtered all loss of power and died. sometimes it will not restart being i had to limp/restart atleast 20 times to limp it home. once i took all the codes from check engine light came back with
p0351
Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit
po352
Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit
po353
Ignition Coil C Primary/Secondary Circuit
p1391
Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP
p1694
Fault In Companion Module
my guess from reading is that i bumped the crank position sensor when i was installing engine and that it is going/is bad what are your guys ideas? also im thinking if the cps is bad that it is throwing the coil codes because there not in sync or whateve lol.. i retimed the cam sensor to exact spec. this is a remanufactured motor

I had the same codes, check the position of your Cam shaft sensor. I had mine a little bit off (at a angle from the engine). The plug of the sensor should be parallel to the engine. I took mine out (oil pump shaft and cam shaft sensor) and reset the engine to TDC, put the oil pump shaft back in (dont forget the toothpick trick) and reinstalled the cam shaft sensor. The jeep started right up and runs great. If the oil pump shaft and cam sensor is off it will throw coil codes because the fuel/spark sync is off.
